Perfect is the 1st word that springs to mind after spending our honeymoon at the Sofitel hotel. The setting is stunning with a glorious private beach, no hawkers hassling you. Weather was fantastic and sea was lovely and warm. Since it was the 1st time we had been to Egypt and all inclusive we were a bit wary but we found the food to be good, not fantastic but it was definitely worth paying the extra. My husband did have tummy problems, but we don’t know whether this was down to the food or the heat, as it was hot and he did get burnt a bit. The staff at the hotel were really friendly and the hotel was very nice lovely area where the swimming pools are. We also did a couple of good trips the 1st one was to Petra, an early start but well worth it as you do see some amazing sites, the next trip was to Cairo which was a really early start, very tiring, 5 hour journey. We did the 2 day option so we chilled when we got to Cairo in a 5 star hotel and had a swim next day we visited the Pyramids, not as spectacular as I was expecting but wouldn’t have missed them. After Cairo we needed to chill out and spent the days by the pool and the beach, snorkeling and a few drinks in the evening, felt totally relaxed by the end of the holiday.
