Egypt First Salt Cave Opens in Taba Heights

Salt-CaveEgypts first ever salt cave opened on the Red Sea resort of  Taba Heights in August 2010.

The caves are created with salt from the Dead Sea and Siwa Oasis with salt crystals Stalactites hanging from the ceilings and a thick layer of salt crystals lining the floor. The Siwa Oasis salt  have roots dating back to the time of Alexander the great and together with the chemicals in the air of iodine, calcium, magnesium, iron and selenium give a number of health benefits. The 45 minute session with lighting and colour therapy aimed to promote positiveness and calmness and aid in the treatment of a number of ailments that include dermatological diseases, nervous system disorders, metabolic disturbances, digestive tract problems, underproduction of hyperthyroidism, heart disease and illnesses of the respiratory tract. Sessions an be  extended with the purchase of 100% natural cosmetics, salt lamps and salt candles.
