Product Description

The Marriott beach hotel in Taba Heights is surrounded by the stunning Red Sea coast and mountains. The hotel is 5 star and lives up to the Marriott reputation for being a upmarket hotel. This resort offers admission to an uncoiled area on Egypt's Red Sea shoreline. Facing the west side of Cairo, the northern redsea shoreline has an abundance of coral reef. There are a numerous unnoticed diving places close by which one can easily visit and snorkel and realize the thriving underwater wildlife.

This was the second time we had been to this hotel and we loved every minute of it. The 1st time we had done the excursions, this time was sheer relaxation. The staff were very friendly, rooms were well decorated and spacious and there was always something edible from the buffet with a great deal of choice, just don;t expect chips.

Just got back from Taba loved the Marriott and the trips that were taken to Pyramids and Petra although the Pyramids is very long it’s worth it. The Marriott hotel is a fantastic place with very helpful staff and so relaxing either by the pool or on the beach just wandering in for a snorkel to cool down. The pool has a swim up bar which was cool, but the sunbeds get taken up quite quickly although there are plenty on the beach which is where we spent most of the time if we weren’t on a trip. The only reason I have not given the hotel a 5 star is the fact I wasn’t impressed with the food, we were stopping on a half board basis. There was always something edible on the menu but I wouldn’t say it was a good standard apart from the soup and when they had a theme night. We did eat a one of the restaurants that you had to pay for at the Marriott and the food was superb there, and the room service food was really good to. We also went to the Indian restaurant next to the 3 corners hotel where the food was really good but the portions were small. Unfortunately nobody told us about the dine around scheme until it was to late, where you can eat other restaurants within Taba heights for a couple of nights if you are there for a week, don’t really know how this works. Overall holiday was brilliant, loved the trips the snorkeling hotel and staff would definetly go back may try one of the other hotels as I heard the food in the Sofitel was really good and all inclusive, but it didn’t look as good as the Marriott. If I got a good deal I would go to any even the 3 corners which was not on the sea front.
