Product Description

The Hyatt Regency at Taba Heights has 426 air conditioned rooms all of which have personal balconies. This 5 star hotel is built in the style of a Nubian village and is set with the backdrop of the Sinai Mountains and the stunning landscaped gardens and lagoons leading to the beach and coral. The Hyatt is one of the 1st to be developed in Taba Heights so the gardens are well matured with lush green foliage. The Hyatt has 4 pools and one salt lake over looking the Red Sea, the hotel also has a pier which is ideal to get to some of the best coral reef in Taba Heights to go  snorkelling.

Me and my girlfriend stopped October 2007 and enjoyed the place, but found the nightlife to be quite dire. We normally going to more lively places but thought we'd try a change. The location was right on the sea front with direct access to beach and red sea from the hotel, stunning views of the sea from the room. THe hotel itself was spotless and lovely surrounding which is why we have given it 4 stars if it was on nightlife we woudl probably give it 1 star. the food at the Hyatt was edible but not 5 star. We did go on a couple of trips one to Cairo which we thought was well worth the money but very tiring, and the other was a bedouin night gazing at the stars, which was pretty rubbish definelty wouldn't recommend, the food was terrible. Would probably go back in about 10 years when where older

If you like snorkeling this is the best hotel to go to I stayed here with my boyfriend last September for 2 weeks, weather was fantastic, maybe a bit to hot, but us an excuse have a swim and snorkel, in the sea every half hour or so. The hotel has it's own jetty, the only hotel on the block of four hotels situated on the sea front with a jetty. This takes you to a depth of around 20 feet of crystal clear water with a huge variety of fish to see. This was definelty the highlight for us feeling very apprehensive to start with going in at that depth and never having been snorkeling before but I was amazed the water just seemed to keep you afloat, to see the amazing sights under the water is was like escaping to a different planet, such a WOW factor The hotel is really well laid out with beautiful gardens that surround the pools. There always seemed to be spare sunbeds however we spent most of the time on the beach and in the sea. Staff were very helpful and would go out of there way to help you out and had a good sense of humour. There were plenty of things to do during the day with day trips to Cairo and Petra and a couple of others. A water sports center was also close by with a free bus between the hotel. At night the resort wasn't really big on entertainment but there was the odd show that were ok. We hope to return in a couple of years as we had such a good time
